TETRA

Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) is a digital trunked mobile radio standard which was developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute [ETSI]. The purpose of the TETRA standard was to meet the needs of traditional Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) user organisations. For example the public safety, internal security and military markets. Secondly, TETRA is an open standard so there are a wide range of manufacturers providing infrastructure and terminal products. Brabourne works closely with user organizations and in partnership with some of the worlds leading TETRA manufacturers. These include Motorola,Teltronic, Rohill, Simoco and Sepura. Most importantly we seek to deliver bespoke solutions to our clients.

P25

P25 offers similar benefits to public safety users but covers a wider range of frequency bands. In addition P25 can make the migration from analogue technologies to digital two way radio easier and at a lower cost.

DMR & NXDN

DMR, dPMR and NXDN are technologies designed primarily for commercial business users. As a result a wide range of useful features including many third-party data applications are available.
