A new smartphone based PoC radio solution has been added to the PTT over Cellular portfolio available from Brabourne.
The TeloPTT TE590 combines the form factor of a ruggedized Android smartphone, with the functionality of a Push To Talk digital two way radio.
For those users who need internet connectivity and voice communications when on the move, the smartphone PoC radio solution – TeloPTT TE590 fits the bill!.
This smartphone /radio device is extremely rugged. It is fitted with the well known Corning Gorilla glass for its touchscreen display. It’s also rated IP67 so it is fully submersible [ 1 metre for 30 minutes].The TE590 also exceeds the very tough military environmental standards – MIL STD 810G.
The TeloPTT TE590 is equipped with a multi network data roaming SIM card for maximum network coverage. This means the device roams from one network to the next completely seamlessly! Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Near Field Communications [NFC] are also supported.
The smartphone PoC radio solution also includes front and rear cameras. Furthermore the TE590 includes a range of advanced health and safety alarms. Lone worker and a manually operated emergency alarm are available. In addition an advanced man down alarm is included. This has a G sensor, acceleration sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor and an electronic compass.
To take advantage of the wide range of two way radio audio accessories that are available the TE590 employs the Motorola M6 accessory connector. Users can select from standard earpieces, remote speaker microphones and a range of covert surveillance kits.
Smartphone PoC Radio Vehicle Mounted Solution – M5
Some users don’t need or want a portable device so Telo have also made available the M5. This is a vehicle based solution and comprises a control head with a 4 inch touchscreen display, built in GPS and hands free operation.
In addition the M5 smartphone PoC radio solution includes a unique SOS alarm, camera, 2 watt loudspeaker plus a G sensor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope and compass.
